Miami, FL – January 16, 2024. The Miami Media & Film Market (MMFM) launches an International Initiative which serves to facilitate international co-productions between Miami-Dade County, Florida, and key global markets.
The program was made possible under the vision of Miami-Dade County Commissioner René García, the Miami-Dade County Board of Commissioners, and Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, focusing on establishing formal international partnerships to ensure sustainability.
MMFM has assembled an impressive Board of Advisors composed of veteran global screen industry experts. This committee includes high ranking members from Film London and the British Film Commission, valued MMFM partners with a proven track record of delivering effective financial incentive systems, along with leading representatives from Miami-Dade, New York, Los Angeles and strategic global markets including Spain, the EU, Canada, and the UK.
Film London has working with MMFM since 2015, formalizing their partnership in 2018 to grant Miami-Dade-based content developers unparalleled access to leading UK industry stakeholders. Since 2020, MMFM has also forged a strong relationship with Spain, marking a pivotal moment for the industry.
