Call for Submissions
● For writers, directors, and producers.
● From Miami-Dade County and Beyond—working across film, television, animation, digital media, and emerging screen formats.
● If you are a content creator who wants to establish professional collaborations with international partners, expand your pathways for development, financing, and production, MMFM 2016 is for you.
Submission | Registration Fees:
● $40 per project (for Miami-Dade based submissions. Also includes registration to MMFM event July 20-21, 20226)
● $100 for non-local submissions.
● $50 If you chose not to submit a script but want to attend the MMFM event

Evaluation Framework | Criteria:
● Project location is not restricted to Miami-Dade | Details below.
● Priority will be given to projects which have some financing or 50% financing in place.
● Projects will be evaluated using a weighted scoring system that reflects current market realities. Particular emphasis will be placed on Global Market Strength, recognizing the increasing mobility of production across global territories.
● The program maintains a meaningful focus on Miami-Dade creative participation to ensure continued local ecosystem relevance over the long term.
Awards Structure
Based on projected submission volume, MMFM will establish an initial cash award structured as:
● Best Overall Project
● Special Jury Recognition Award
● International Market Award
This level is intentionally calibrated to signal a notable commitment to the industry while maintaining financial sustainability.
Industry Evaluation
Projects will be reviewed by a distinguished panel of industry professionals, with anticipated participation from:
● Film London
● Madrid Audiovisual Cluster
● Andersen, Spain
● Established U.S. Producers and Filmmakers
This international jury structure is designed to reinforce MMFM’s positioning as a hemispheric and global connector.
Conclusion
The Global Creator Pipeline represents a disciplined, forward-looking response to current industry conditions to ensure that Miami-Dade’s creative professionals remain competitive, visible, and connected to global opportunities.
